About The Chitlin Circus:
The Chitlin Circus is a joyful animated musical series that brings Black history and culture to life for children. Each song-filled episode introduces young viewers to Black inventors, artists, and everyday heroes in a fun, positive way that inspires pride and curiosity.
Created by artist and educator Thom Reaves and musician Lisa Yves, the series blends catchy music, colorful animation, and real history—like a modern-day Schoolhouse Rock with a focus on representation, creativity, and truth.
