LOVE THE LIFE YOU’RE ALREADY LIVING!

You Don’t Need a Different Life.

You May Simply Need a Different Way of Seeing the Life You Already Have.

Have you ever had the feeling that you’ve built a good life, yet somehow you’re no longer fully experiencing it?

You go to work. You come home. You spend time with family and friends. You take vacations. You celebrate birthdays and holidays. Life is full, but somewhere along the way it has become familiar. The wonder you once felt has slowly been replaced by routine.

Nothing is necessarily wrong.

In fact, many people who feel this way are successful by almost every outward measure. They’ve built careers, raised families, purchased homes, and accomplished goals they once dreamed about. Yet they quietly wonder why life no longer feels as rich, meaningful, or exciting as it once did.

The Day Everything Changed for Me

For years, I’ve had the privilege of interviewing artists, architects, designers, filmmakers, and creative people through Studio Tour Magazine.

At first, I thought I was interviewing them about their work.

Over time, I realized I was really interviewing them about the way they saw the world.

Again and again, I noticed something remarkable. The people who seemed most alive weren’t necessarily the wealthiest, the most famous, or even the most successful. They simply paid attention in ways the rest of us often don’t.

They noticed beauty where others saw ordinary.

They remained curious about things most people ignored.

They found meaning in everyday experiences.

That observation led me to a question that eventually became the foundation of everything I now teach:

What if artists aren’t the only people who can learn to see this way?

What if seeing differently is a skill that anyone can develop?

And if we begin seeing differently, could we begin living differently as well?

I believe the answer is yes.

Introducing

See Different. Live Different.

See Different. Live Different. is a six-month coaching experience designed to help you reconnect with the beauty, meaning, and wonder that’s already present in your everyday life.

This isn’t about escaping your life. It’s about rediscovering it.

It isn’t therapy, although many people find it deeply restorative.

It isn’t an art class, although you’ll learn from the way artists observe the world.

It isn’t another productivity system designed to help you accomplish more.

It’s about helping you experience more.

Together, we’ll slow down long enough to notice what you’ve been overlooking. We’ll learn how to replace routine with curiosity, hurry with attentiveness, and distraction with presence. You’ll begin making small, intentional changes that gradually reshape the way you experience your home, your relationships, your work, your leisure, your travels, and even the ordinary moments that once passed unnoticed.

The goal isn’t to create a perfect life.

The goal is to become fully present in the life you’ve already been given.

Over six months, you’ll discover that when you begin seeing differently, your decisions naturally begin to change. You notice opportunities you once missed. You become more grateful for what you already have. You create more beauty in your surroundings. Your relationships deepen because you’re truly present. Everyday experiences become richer because you’re paying attention instead of simply passing through them.

This is why I call the program See Different. Live Different.

Living differently isn’t something we force.

It becomes the natural result of learning to see differently.

Why This Works

For years, I interviewed artists, architects, designers, filmmakers, chefs, and other creative people through Studio Tour Magazine. I expected to learn about painting, sculpture, architecture, and design. Instead, I found myself learning something much more important.

The people who seemed most alive weren’t simply talented—they were attentive.

They noticed beauty where others saw routine.

They remained curious when others became familiar.

They slowed down long enough to appreciate what most people hurried past.

They didn’t live on a different planet.

They lived in the same neighborhoods, walked the same streets, drank the same morning coffee, and faced many of the same challenges as everyone else.

The difference was not their circumstances.

The difference was the way they experienced those circumstances.

That realization changed the direction of my work.

I began asking a simple question:

Can the habits that help artists experience the world more deeply be learned by anyone?

I believe they can.

————-

That belief became the foundation of Art as Lifestyle, and eventually grew into the coaching experience you’re reading about today.

You don’t need to become an artist to benefit from this way of living.

You simply need to become someone who notices, receives, creates, shares, and gradually becomes more fully alive.

The remarkable thing is that this transformation doesn’t begin with changing your life.

It begins with changing your attention.

And when your attention changes, your decisions begin to change.

When your decisions change, your life follows.

The See Different Method

Everything we do inside the program is built around a simple five-step process.

Not because life is simple—but because lasting transformation usually begins with simple practices repeated consistently.

1. Notice

Every transformation begins with attention.

Most of us have become experts at overlooking the extraordinary hidden inside ordinary life. We pass beautiful architecture without looking up. We rush through meals without tasting them. We miss conversations because we’re thinking about the next appointment. We stop noticing our own neighborhoods, our own homes, even the people we love.

Learning to notice again is the beginning of becoming fully alive.

You’ll develop practical habits that help you slow down, observe more deeply, and rediscover the beauty that’s been there all along.

2. Receive

Noticing isn’t enough.

We also have to learn to receive what we’ve noticed.

Beauty isn’t simply something to observe—it’s something to enjoy with gratitude.

Whether it’s a sunrise, a well-designed chair, a meaningful conversation, a favorite meal, or an unexpected act of kindness, we’ll practice receiving these moments instead of rushing past them.

Gratitude turns observation into experience.

3. Create

As you begin noticing and receiving beauty, something unexpected happens.

You naturally begin wanting to contribute beauty yourself.

That doesn’t necessarily mean painting pictures.

It may mean preparing a memorable meal, creating a welcoming home, writing an encouraging note, planning an unforgettable family outing, dressing with greater intention, or solving a problem with imagination.

Creativity is much broader than art.

It’s choosing to make the world around you a little better than you found it.

4. Share

Beauty grows when it’s shared.

Some of the most meaningful moments in life aren’t the ones we keep—they’re the ones we give away.

You’ll learn how to bring encouragement, generosity, hospitality, curiosity, and beauty into your relationships and your community.

When your life becomes richer, the people around you naturally benefit.

5. Become

Eventually these practices stop feeling like exercises.

They become part of who you are.

You begin seeing opportunities where you once saw inconveniences.

You become more grateful, more curious, more attentive, and more present.

Your life hasn’t changed overnight.

You’ve changed.

And because you’ve changed, the way you experience your life changes too.

The Creative Style Framework

The See Different Method provides the process.

Creative Style provides the places where you’ll apply it.

Instead of focusing on just one part of life, we’ll explore how this new way of seeing transforms every area of everyday living.

Throughout our time together, we’ll work through thirteen dimensions of a life lived creatively:

  •  Communication – speaking and listening with greater intention.
  •  Routines – replacing autopilot with purposeful habits.
  •  Emotional Expression – understanding and expressing what’s happening within you.
  •  Artful Sensory Living – experiencing food, music, scent, and everyday pleasures more fully.
  •  Travel & Exploration – discovering wonder both close to home and farther away.
  •  Individual Style – expressing who you are with authenticity.
  •  Versatility in Design – shaping environments that encourage peace and creativity.
  •  Evolution – remaining curious, teachable, and open to growth.
  •  Social Life – cultivating deeper friendships and meaningful conversations.
  •  Teaching & Learning – becoming both a lifelong student and a generous guide.
  •  Your Home – creating spaces that restore rather than drain you.
  •  Leisure & Play – making room for delight, rest, and recreation.
  •  Environment – learning to notice and influence the places where you live and work.

These aren’t separate subjects.

Together they form a picture of a life that is increasingly lived with intention, curiosity, beauty, and gratitude.
